Definitions

The terms "Kensington Minicabs," "we," or "us" denote the service-providing entity. References to "you" and "your" encompass any individual, business, or company engaging in a booking with us.

Booking

2.1 It is imperative that you allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure timely arrival, especially for airport transfers requiring adherence to flight check-in schedules. Kensington Minicabs shall not be held liable for delays resulting from insufficient time allocation or failure to be ready for collection at the appointed time.

2.2 The responsibility lies with you to request a vehicle of appropriate size for all passengers and luggage. We do not guarantee the carriage of excessive luggage. Additionally, each child, irrespective of age, counts as a single passenger.

2.3 Any request for wheelchair access must be communicated at the time of booking.

Prices & Payment

3.1 Our quotations are based on the information provided by you. Unless otherwise specified, all prices exclude VAT, which will be charged additionally if applicable. We reserve the right to modify quoted prices in case of significant changes to the itinerary.

3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period post the scheduled landing time, along with airport parking fees. Any waiting time exceeding this period will be subject to standard waiting rates. While we strive to accommodate flight delays, we are not obligated to do so.

3.3 Upon acceptance of our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review this confirmation thoroughly for accuracy. Failure to notify Kensington Minicabs of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs, for which we shall not be held responsible.

3.4 Payment for our services can be made via cash, credit card, or debit card.

The Service

4.1 You are accountable for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Any soiling, damage, or disruption caused by passengers may incur cleaning charges.

4.2 Consumption of food, beverages, or smoking is strictly prohibited in the vehicle.

4.3 Children must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.

4.4 We adhere to passenger limits as per licensing and insurance regulations.

Cancellations

5.1 In the event of a cancellation, prompt communication is essential. Failure to cancel a booking before dispatch may result in charges based on the distance and time covered by the driver.

5.2 Cancellation charges may apply if made after dispatch, particularly for bookings made through our online system.

Liability

6.1 While we make every effort to ensure punctual arrival, we shall not be liable for losses incurred due to factors beyond our control. Kensington Minicabs assumes no responsibility for any losses suffered by you or your business.

6.2 Luggage is transported at your own risk.

6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will endeavor to arrange alternative transportation promptly.

6.4 You shall indemnify Kensington Minicabs against any expenses, damages, or losses arising from actions or omissions of individuals in your party.

6.5 Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other matter deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.

Termination

7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if the safety of our vehicle or driver is compromised by any passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.

Miscellaneous

8.1 Kensington Minicabs reserves the right to subcontract obligations outlined in this agreement. You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations without our consent.

8.2 We retain the right to amend these terms and conditions, with changes being effective upon publication on this page. It is your responsibility to review these terms regularly. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates applicable at the time of booking.

8.3 We handle information following the Data Protection Act of 1988.

8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Kensington Minicabs and yourself.

8.5 Third parties do not possess rights under this agreement unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Disputes

Any disputes or claims must be raised within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Claims beyond this period may not be entertained by Kensington Minicabs.
